What a fantastic day for a great little ride, I decided to get a late start today and enjoy some afternoon sun and warm weather. It was just what I was hoping for minus the traffic, the lilacs were in bloom and smelled sweat, as were the crab apple trees as the sun beat down on me.
Now I was no speed demon today (hills and a strong wind coming home) but I did head straight south toward the Minnesota River Valley and managed to get down near the Lions Tap (a little burger place in Minnesota) then I headed toward Eden Prairie road and headed up. Dam that was one steep fricking hill, steepest hill around here but not too long. I think the climb up south highway 101 us more difficult (although it has been years since I rode up that one) since it is nearly as step and about twice the distance.
Anyway … nice little ride after my afternoon of blogging and surfing online for cycling goodness.
