San Sebastian Classic: Zaballa’s Attack Unmatched!

The San Sebastian Classic is a tough one day event held in the Spanish Basque country, it serves as a primer for tour riders heading into the last “grand tour” of the season the Vuelta which starts usually in the end of August or the beginning of September.

This years addition was just like most other classics filled with lots of attacks over the 228 kilometer course.

Always a hard day in the Basque country, today was no different on the 25th edition, 228 kilometers of mainly up or down and the Jaizkibel and Alto de Gurutze for the finale. All the classic stars are here and a few from the Tour, along with riders preparing for La Vuelta a Espa a.
