Over the last several days I have received several google news notifications about “Official Tour de France Guides” that have just become available from both Velonew and Procycling. As a subscriber to the very expensive Procycling I must say it is worth every penny for those that really love cycling. The magazine has incredible photos, great stories and really gets inside pro cycling. As mentioned though a yearly subscription to ProCycling is costly at over $100.
Velonews has also issued an “Official Tour de France Guide” as well featuring American hopeful George Hincapie on the cover. I have ordered both (more info the better for a blogger) and will be all smiles the day I find the first in my mailbox. Speaking of delivery ProCycling is out of Europe, I have my fingers crossed that I get mine before the tour begins. Of course their is a very good chance I will get one with my mag subscription but I guess I wanted to be safe rather than sorry.
