Two days into the Tour of Germany and word is that the German press is already down on Jan Ullrich. The cycling star is trying to make an impression and win on home soil but has been put in a “spot of bother” due to the fact that his team seams to be less than stallar right now.

Jan Ullrich was completely isolated from his team mates at the end of the stage. Vinokourov is weakened by a bout of flu, Guerini and Kessler tried to help but could not hold on.
