American who can’t get enough pro racing are in store for a treat come September, cycling super stars such as Ivan Basso, George Hincapie and David Zabriskie have all signed on to participate in the Barclays Global Investors Grand Prix, the cycling race formally known as the San Francisco Grand Prix.
Ivan Basso, runner-up in this year’s Tour de France, will lead Team CSC’s
San Francisco squad. He will be joined by David Zabriskie, who this year
became only the third American ever to wear the yellow leader’s jersey at the
Tour de France. Rounding out the team are Frank Schleck, Peter Luttenberger
and Luke Roberts.
