What a great day for a ride! Felt much better than I did yesterday and cruised a quick 11 miles in just under an hour. I would like to shout out a thank to the folks at Tonka cycle for adjusting my derailleur on the spot and not even charging me! Today I rode out to Excelsior Blvd and headed east to Baker road, then I headed south for about two miles and turned round and headed home.
The sun felt really nice and the temp was just perfect in the lower 70’s, the first two miles or so of my trip felt crappy as hell. However once I took my little 10 minute break at the bike shop while they tweaked my bike I felt really good once I got back on my bike.
Right now I am just thinking about trying to ride about three to four times weekly, each ride being about 10 miles or so. If I can stick with that plan for two or three weeks I should be in better shape by May. Wish me luck!
